MHS Architect’s 3D printers have been working overtime nights and into the weekends printing out our highly detailed architectural designs. These tangible 3D models better visualize connections, scale, and spatial relationships between key elements, the site, and the proposed building. With interchangeable pieces, the technology allows us to create multiple accurate physical architectural models that communicate our proposed multifamily design options quickly and clearly.
MHS Architects designers, Wooyoung Choi and Don Chen, participated in printing many of these models. Intricate miniature cities can be printed. Hoboken’s Southern waterfront and Jersey City model were precisely printed to illustrate to clients and developers how their project interacts with the surrounding context at any stage of the process.
